While on vacation in Key West with my family, I was on a mission to find a straw purse for the summer months. I've been carrying around a clunky leather purse and wanted one more suitable for the warmer climate. I spotted one at a local shop (Terra Nova, http://shopterranova.com/) and fell in love. However, being on vacation with your entire family (i.e. three kids and husband), there wasn't much time to stroll around and contemplate whether I wanted to take the plunge. And inevitably, we left to go home and I left empty-handed (sad face). A few days later, low and behold an unexpected package arrived for me with you guessed it - the straw purse! My insanely thoughtful mother sent it to me as an early birthday gift. She really spoils me sometimes...well all the time!
