Oktoberfest Boho

We were invited to an Oktoberfest party this past weekend at a friend's house complete with brats, sauerkraut, German chocolate cake and plenty of dark, heavy beer. While I didn't don a lederhosen costume, I did find this flowy, boho-inspired top from Page 6 Boutique fit the atmosphere and breezy weather perfectly. Auf wiedersehen!

Stepping it Up

Even when I don't have any special plans for the weekend, I seem to veer towards "fancier" clothing each Friday as if I did have something to do. So when I reached for this citrus green top from Page 6 Boutique (a local shop here), I was happy the end of the week was here! Combined with these fabulous Jessica Simpson heels, I'm ready for whatever life throws at me this weekend - baseball games, family hikes, Sunday school - all events so inappropriate for this get up. But, a girl can dream, right?

A Smart Three-Year Old

I've owned this cardigan for a little now and had some trouble figuring out what to wear with it. It's such a gorgeous color with a neutral base, but for some reason I just couldn't find anything I was happy to pair it with. Then, my daughter pulled out a head to toe yellow outfit for school that had my wheels turning. So, I figured I'd give the yellow on yellow a try myself and was pleasantly surprised. You get inspiration from the darnedest places, right?
